The system of cooling and heating the tires, intended for the improvement of their qualities, was developed by the engineers of Daimler Company and patented in Great Britain. The system is intended both for the cooling and for the heating of car tires.
As follows from the description of the system, contained in the patent documentation, special sensors monitor the temperature of rubber, and, if necessary, spread the liquid on the tire surface through 3 special sprayers. Thanks to this, the tires won’t overheat during the intensive driving and the hot weather. Moreover, the wash the tires with hot water, to deal with icing and avoid the drop of wheels pressure in sub-zero temperatures.
The water will be stored in a special reservoir. Container for the liquid can automatically fill water from the windshield and the rear window, while rainwater and snow can be also used to recharge the supplies in the tank.
